Let's go to THAILAND....speciaalluuu!! ~right after exam heart break ver.~(Part 2)

For those of you who are looking forward to this post, I totally apologize for the delay... I've been pretty busy lately doing nothing...hohohohoho!! Anyway, here is part two of our "Let's go to THAILAND....speciaalluuu!! ~right after exam heart break ver.~"!

Location: Pattaya, Thailand

As I was pretty much asleep the whole way there...I didnt take any pics>_>....but I think it was a good thing as my mom said we almost died a few times! hahaha>_<.....Anyway, although the taxi drivers skill was crazy, the same can't be said for the other motorists on the road...it's like there isn't any slow lane and fast lane, anything works here as long as u don't kill someone!

After a few hours, we finally reached Pattaya...we stayed at my father's service apartment in the Jomtien Beach area(don't remember what it's called...>_>), and it was a pretty nice place. It had a kitchen, a pretty large living room and a very big washroom but it only had one queen sized bed...so...for the entire 7 days I was there...I got to know the couches personally...the long one's Dave and the other two are Minna and Cindy respectively....hohohoh>_<...here's a pic

Strangely enough, it was kinda comfortable sleeping on the sofa...I guess I can pretty much sleep anywhere

The next day we went shopping for food stuff at Tesco(yay!>_>), anyway...words cant describe what I found...see for urself!

This durian was absolutely the biggest durian i have ever seen! It was humongous!
And the fruit within was fist sized!! ^_^

During the night, we went here...

At nite it's a pretty busy street, with lots of food, drinks, beer, beer and more beer...

And yeah, I forgot to mention that 7-11 like the one on the right of the pic is EVERYWERE in Pattaya...I mean you'll see one every 10 meters or so! Well sort of...

Anyway the street is just so beautiful with the neon lights, it captivates me like a moth attracted to fire...but not just because of the neons >_<...and it isnt too long or too short...just nice for a walk!

Now down to serious business, bad news for you if you're travelling with you're parents to Pattaya...because...not only is walking street full of this...

It's also full of this....

And this..>_<

So for god's sake man, if you're in Pattaya with ur parents...find a way to sneak out of the hotel and get here man! Run man! Run like the wind!!

Anyway, during my stay there I found another convenience store vying for the most mushrooming award in Pattaya...

Family mart and 7-11 are EVERYWHERE here in Pattaya...if you see a 7-11, there surely will be a family mart lurking near by! Business rivalry to the MAX...fooOOOO!

And I also found something similar between our cultures, that is they too sell food on the streets...but unlike our mamak stall, they sell a lot of fried food as shown in the pic...and some stalls even have barbequed seafood! All hail unhealthy food!!

(BTW, there's an ultraman sticker on the bottom right)

ok, now motorbikes are the main mode of transportation for many...and there are many places where you can rent one...bikes here range from Harleys to this...

...cool bike and my all time favorite...

VESPA!! ^_^ (neways, check out the Japanese plate)

Another popular and cheap mode of transportation in Thailand is the Tuk-tuk...but the ones here are rather different than the regular known Tuks, anyway without any knowledge of what they are called I will just call them "Big Tuk" (FYI to use the big tuk, juz get on as it functions like a bus...and when you feel like getting off just press the button located on the ceiling of the vehicle and go pay the driver around 20 Baht).

And here's a one in action with a semi-full complement of Farangs.(neways, farang is similar to our cantonese gweilou)

Phew! And with that I conclude the 2nd chapter of our special...sorry for the extremely long post because I don't feel like breaking it down to too many parts...(alright I'm lazy>_<)

Anyway, next stop...Bangkok!
